FRANKIE - FIDDLE LEAF FICUS
Frankie, the fabulous and super popular Fiddle Leaf Ficus (fig) likes a stable home life, with filtered direct light and he likes to be watered, turned, and left alone. He grows faster and produces more leaves in bright indirect light. He will unfortunately loose leaves and likely rot in too low of light.
• Light: BRIGHT indirect light up to 4-6 hrs of direct light. Strong east windows or west windows with some diffusion are their favorites. South windows can be a little intense -- move them back a foot or so.
• Water: Let dry out at least 50%-75% between waterings. These can be a little sensitive to overwatering and underwatering. Consisentcy is key!
• Considerations: Frankie is sensitive to environmental stress, and prone to occasional brown edges/spotting on leaves. High humidity will help this plant thrive. He likes to be in one location and left there. He HATES air conditioner & heater vents.
• Pot: The 4" is usually around 10-12" tall, the 6" usually 18"-2' tall, the 10" is usually 3.5-5' tall, and the 12" is between 5-6' tall tall. These will come in a white ceramic pot.
NOTE: The plant height varies based on availability and grower.
