WESTLEY - SILVER PHILODENDRON - SCINDAPSUS PICTUS ARGYRAEUS
As you wish! :)
Westley is a Silver Philodendron - SCINDAPSUS PICTUS ARGYRAEUS to be exact. It's INCONCIEVABLE that you don't have one of these in your plant collection. He's super easy to care for, has great variegation on his leaves, and is very open to various lighting situations.
Light - He does OK in low light, and loves bright indirect lighting. A few feet from a south facing window would be his fave, but he's a safe bet even if your space has shady or north light.
Water - Let his soil dry out between waterings, as you don't want root-rot.
Considerations - As you'll remember, he likes to climb, so his vines tend to shoot long and sparse with aerial roots that search for wood to adhere to. As he grows his tips can be more sparse. That's totally normal. You can leave him hanging, draping form a shelf, or you can add a climbing stake! If you prefer him to stay bushy... regular tip pruning will keep his legs tidy and well-shaped.
