LARGE RARE CAPITATA ORANGE TILLANDSIA AIRPLANT
This plant is a very large, unique specimen tillandsia. The plant is about 18" tall, and has a stunning orange tip to go with the grey-green leaves. It is in a nest of mosses and kiwi vine in a stunning hand-made brass bowl. It makes a striking gift, or a great addition to any collector's specimens. It is one of a kind, and you'll get the only one!
Tillandsia and airplants are in the bromeliad family, but they by nature - don't need or want soil. They are epiphytic plants, which means that they don't get nutrients from the soil, but from air and water and their host-plant's substrate.
They love humidity, and love to be misted. They do not want to go more than 2-3 days in Denver with out a mist. They like a good soak twice a month or so. You can just water them in the sink - just let the water run over, and run off.
